This team meets every Monday at 10:00 AM to review and update every name on our prayer list, to ensure that first-time guests are receiving a loaf of homemade bread delivered to their home, to discuss updates on our homebound and hospitalized members, to make sure our at-home communion is reaching everyone on the list, to discuss our meal-train and prayer blanket ministries, and other items having to do with the overall well-being of our congregation.

Our UMM meet every second Monday of the month for lunch and a program/discussion at Pizza Village.

Leader: Ann Fournier
Our women’s ministry team encourages community-building among the women of Northwood. Our Ladies’ Fellowship meets on the first Saturday of every month. We also have a women’s prayer group that meets in the home of Paula Prejean. The women’s ministry team also hosts regular social events throughout the year.

Leader: Julie Lafosse
This team has been meeting every other month (and/or as needed) to discuss all things children and youth. You don’t need to have children in our programs at Northwood to participate on this team!

Leader: Wayne Evans
This team is primarily comprised of all of our ministry team leaders, but is open to anyone who would like to participate and contribute. They meet every other month to go over the church calendar and ensure that multiple events are not overlapping, and that all ministry teams are working in creative ways to fulfill our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.

Leader: Don Wright
This team meets as necessary to discuss and facilitate the upkeep of our church campus.  They also have a ministry called “Helping Hands” that assists church members with small handyman tasks.  If you’re handy, this team could always use your help!

If it involves our church kitchen, there’s a good chance it involves someone from our Kitchen Ministry Team. If you’d like to get more involved with our monthly Food and Fellowship, any other church-wide meal prep, or anything else that involves food (including making lunch for UL Wesley), then the Kitchen Ministry Team is the team for you.

Leader: Amy Fisher
Amy has graciously agreed to spearhead our much-needed missions team, overseeing things like UCO donation totes, partnering with Evangeline Elementary School, and the annual Community Thanksgiving Meal.

Leader: Dennis Wollard
How many times have you heard, “We should try this!” when it comes to new ideas for reaching our neighbors, or for inviting them to Northwood, but then that great idea never comes to fruition? This ministry team is all about 1) Letting our community know that Northwood exists, and 2) Finding creative ways to connect with our neighbors.
